YUI tooltip

Hi guys is it possible to create a tooltip upon hover over of an element. Ive done it loads in JQuery but cant find any guides, documentation or examples anywhere on how to do it using YUI.

I do have loads of Jquery in my new block and mod but did want to limit it wherever possible and use more YUI as the docs suggest. Thus I want to implement it in YUI.

To make things more complex I am trying to get the content of the tooltip through Ajax. 

Any help would be much appreciated.
