Its ok, ive decided to change the way i am writing the block. Its going to have its own mod and plugin system inside the block itself so that people can choose which bits of the block and which extra mods to the block get installed. For the initial release it will just have a block and seperate mod folders as I wanted to make use of the built in moodle functionality. I realise the error of my ways and will change for next month.
