Rules in form's elements ?

Hello !

I know in an activity form you can disable a parameter because of another thanks to the "disableIf" function.

But, instead is it possible to set (real time) the default values for some elements (<select>, checkbox, etc.) because a user has just set one other  parameter to some specific value ?

If yes, ho do you do that ?
