Re: Why don't files attached to a forum post show up in table mdl_files?

I'm using moodle 2.2. I used MySQL workbench to connect to the MySQL data and can see all tables and data in the tables. I saw a couple of mod_forum attachment files, but not the one from my post, and the total number doesn't grow when I added more posts with file attachments, which is why I'm confused.

In theory, like you said, all files should have a record in mdl_files, but obviously not the case for me right now. Is there any sort of caching in this case?
